Welcome to the Wrexham City Board website! We are an independent group of business leaders, public servants, community champions and elected representatives, working together to turn Wrexham's growing international profile into real lasting change.
We were established to lead the investment of £20 million into Wrexham over the next 10 years through the UK Government’s Pride in Place Programme. But it didn’t take long for us to realise that this isn’t just about a plan - it’s about potential. And Wrexham has plenty of it! We’re using that funding as a springboard - to bring in more investment, build bold partnerships, and help shape a future that reflects the ambition, creativity and community spirit that define our city. With the voices of local people guiding us, we’re here to help Wrexham thrive; not just for today, but for generations to come.
